That looks like my fig preserves, the one I add lemon too! Very cool gift idea.
Woah, I’d eat this. Okay, not the intended purpose, right? But sugar + lemon?? Anyway, great gift idea!
Amazing – and perfect for me to give to a couple of pals round here as Christmas gifts. We finally have plenty of lemons on the tree now so I am going to grab a few this week for this. Just need to hunt out some pretty jars!
I love it!
what a wonderful gift idea
Oh, how nice would that be in some of those antique canning jars?
Thanks, Jamie!
I am SO making this for myself and for Christmas gifts! Thank you!
I make a very similar scrub at home! I use turbinado sugar, olive oil, and eucalyptus.
Oh, those little squat canning jars are cute. I’ll have to see if anywhere near me carries them.
This looks good enough to eat!
What an awesome gift! Thank you for sharing.
I love this idea and just pinned it so I could make it for gifts this Christmas. Super, idea, thank you so much!!
How cool is THIS? Thanks for sharing!

Mmm…lemon good! Terrific homemade gift! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Very cool!
How long do you think the scrub will keep in the jar?
Rach,
With oil, sugar and lemon being the ingredients I would guess the shelf-life to be at least 6 months. I usually make pretty small jars, so mine never lasts that long.
This scrub sounds wonderful! I may have to try this out.
I never realised how simple and wonderful this was to make – can’t wait to try it 😀
Thank you for subscribing to my blog as well by the way – I hope it reaches expectations 😀
Cheers

It’s amazingly simple!
This sounds lovely and perfect for the kitchen sink : ) I do a similar thing with salt, almond oil and a drop or two of essential oils as a shower scrub. I’m with you – can’t believe how much you pay for these scrubs in the store!
Your shower scrub sounds great!
It’s crazy how expensive these scrubs are.
