Waiting…..
It’s after Midnight. My house is quiet, except for the noise from the T.V. I’m watching Watchmen, yes… I’m that sort of girl. Everyone else is asleep, I should be too. I know I should be, but sleep is always harder to catch when your mind is racing, at least for me it is.
My daughter is having surgery in 6 hours to remove a broken sewing needle she stepped on Wednesday morning.
Our Thursday was full doctor office visits, surgery set-up details and picking up medical supplies. Supplies like a nifty knee scooter.
I never sleep well the night before a loved one has surgery, it’s the worry wart in me.
So, I’m up waiting for sleep, waiting for 5 A.M. to come around, waiting for my daughter’s surgery to be over, waiting for her tears of pain (the tears I can not “fix”) to end.
I am quite simply waiting……..

When my now-grown kids tell me to quit worrying about them, I remind them that it’s my JOB…
I’ll be thinking about you today.
You guys are in my thoughts!
Thank you so much!
Ouch! Saying a prayer Jamie!
Thank you Rose!!
Sending you prayers! xo
Thank you Shell!
Hope everything is going to be okay! I’d be a nervous wreck too.
Oh wow, I hope she has a speedy recovery. You guys have had quite the year.
Hope everything went well this morning.
