I’m growing corn, well corn stalks.

Beets, peppers and (I think) watermelons.

I did not plant lettuce there. It must have washed there in the heavy rain a few weeks ago.

What one thing does not belong? The little oak tree. We had a ton of seeds blown into our yard. One must have found it’s way to my raised garden bed.

  1. Wow you have tomatoes…very impressive!

    • I’m surprised. Tomatoes have not been easy for me. So far, so good.

  2. Looking good! I have some seedlings to put in the ground as soon as this cold spell passes (not freezing, but I decided my little plants would prefer the garage for these few 38 degree nights).

    • I can certainly understand waiting till the weather is a tad warmer. It has been warm here. Almost 90 yesterday.

  3. Your garden looks so fresh and healthy – I am sure it is going to grow even more and very very well 😀

  4. Noobie question: how do you keep birds away?

    • I’m buying a plastic owl next week. Shinny, spinning things help some. Some birds won’t be deterred and I know I’ve lost some seeds.
