What I Bought Recently.
If you’re here to enter the MyBlogSpark giveaway I’m hosting click here.
I’m participating in the iPPP link up that Liz and KLZ host.
My son and I had dinner at Red Robin on Saturday evening. It was our special dinner out while my husband and daughter attended a Father-Daughter Valentine’s dance.
I picked wines, based exclusively on the “cuteness” of their names. Much to the dismay of the sales person.
Broke Ass Red
I bought a cookbook full of tiny, cute pies (both sweet and savory)
I bought new multi colored yarn. I’m knitting for a blue haired friend of mine.
How about you? What new things have you bought?
My brother picks out wine for me that way as Christmas gifts. I think last year I got “polka dot”… trying to remember this year… hmmm…
It’s so much fun! Plus, confusing the sales staff is a fantastic plus. 🙂
Ah ah ah! (That is my text interpretation of the noises of excitement I’m making.) For realz? You are too awesome!
And Twisted is actually tasty stuff! I bought it based on the label, too 🙂 And in case you come across it in the future–Bitch wine? Not as fun as the name.
Yes. For realz. I saw the yarn and thought of you.
I’ve not seen Bitch wine. I’ll remember not to buy it. 🙂
Haha, you know my style–bright and colorful!
Oh man, I shouldn’t have looked at this while I’m trying to figure out what to have for lunch. That burger looks too good.
Red Robin burgers will do that to you. They’re quite tasty.
Looks like fun and I love that recipe book!
Ha! I love that, buying wine according to the name. Although it would make me need to rethink my love of Witches’ Brew..
Love the names if the wines!
Yeah…Love Red Robins…all you can eat steak fry deal…I bet Michelle Mama Obama would close them down if she could…Wine by Name? ..what, and you didn’t even include “Fat Bastard”? Wine that is…Heh…
What fun – love the look of your cookery book.
