The Grilling Season has begun

The weather is warm, the garden is blooming, so we’re outside grilling.

Last night we had grilled chicken thighs and grilled veggie packets.

The Grill Master.

I made veggie packets with mostly home grown veggies. My husband grilled them while he was grilling the chicken.

Grilled veggie packs are super easy.

Chop veggies. I used squash, zucchini, and onion.

Place the veggies on large pieces of tin foil.

Drizzle with olive oils and sprinkle with garlic salt.

Fold the foil into a packet and get grilling.

Make sure you poke a few vent holes in the foil.

Enjoy!

I like the semi-charred pieces best.

How do you grill your veggies?

  1. Well now, your hubby certainly dresses up for grilling. My hubby would be in shorts, T-Shit and no shoes. First thing he does when get gets home from work is lose the shoes – he hates wearing shoes. Your veggie parcels sound lovely.

    • We take our grilling seriously. 🙂

Honestly, he just got home from work and started the grill. Trust me, he changed into slippers, a tee shirt and jeans right after I took that picture.

  2. So ready for grilling season!

  3. I love foil pack veggies. And we know with that weather you grill year round!
