Grandmother update

I wanted to Thank You all for your well wishes and prayers for my Grandmother.

I am happy to report that she is home and beginning to feel more like herself.

It amazes me that an infection in one area of an elderly person’s body can affect another part (mind) so much.

My Grandmother is my only remaining, living, blood-related grandparent.

She and I have always been close, when I was in High School I stopped by her home to have breakfast with her and my (deceased) grandfather many mornings.

Again, Thank You. Your kind words, good thoughts and prayers mean a lot.

  3. That´s great to hear, bet you are so relieved 🙂

  4. So glad to hear she’s on the up and up! And oh, when my grandmother broke her hip–the second time–it led to an almost complete mental collapse. I guess health is just all so closely tied together, that physical injury/illness for the elderly has a huge mental effect too.

  5. Good to hear that!
