Memories Captured: My Amazing Children.

Time passes so quickly. Yesterday, in my mind, you were 4 and 2. Buzz Lightyear and Minnie Mouse were very important to you. You loved Mac & Cheese. Hugs and Kisses were your preferred currency.

Today you are 14 and 12. Video Games and Sleep overs are very important to you. You still love Mac & Cheese. Money is your preferred currency.

Sometimes I feel like I will blink and you will be 24 and 22.

34 and 32.

44 and 42.

I know I will be proud of you always.

Oh my, time does fly, doesn’t it?

  2. What a stunning image, i love that! And such bright interested looks on your kids faces! c

  3. Aw, this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. What a touching post! At least you know they’ll always love mac n’ cheese–or at least they better, does anyone grow out of loving that stuff? 🙂

  4. I love that your family is so close and loving – makes me feel warm and good. You are a lucky lady!

  5. That’s so sweet!

  6. What fun! They sounds and look like great kids!

  7. Aww.. that’s so sweet. I think of my own, where does all that time go so quickly?!

  8. Oh my heart, love this! It all passes so very quickly, doesn’t it?

    {This is so very lovingly done!}

  9. They do grow so fast, don’t they? My husband was telling my 9-year-old about something that happened in the house we lived in before this one. She looked at him like he was crazy, until he realized how very young she would have been when the event happened. “You don’t remember, do you?” he said. The sad smile on his face said it all.

This is an awesome picture you put together. I need to do something like that for my girls.

  10. Agh they grow to fast!!!

  11. It’s crazy how fast they grow, isn’t it?

  12. Liz

In the blink of an eye, they aged 10 years. 😉

    • Some days it seems that way. Other days, not so much!

  13. Aww precious. How fast children really grow up 🙂

  14. Aw! I hope you can blink a *few* times before they turn 22 and 24. 🙂

  15. Neat idea. They do grow so quickly…makes me wonder what is happening to me at same time.

  16. They grow so quickly! And my kids could eat mac and cheese every. single. night.

  17. What a sweet post! Mine are 12 & 8 and I find myself reflecting on this a lot too.

  18. This is so great! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how quickly my girls are growing up. It’s so crazy. My middle girl will be 8 tomorrow, and I swear I feel like she was just my baby.

  19. Kids really do grow up way too fast. This is a beautiful memory!

  20. Your kids are amazing, aren’t they?

    • I’m biased, but I say yes!

  21. Aww, this is very sweet. And I still love mac n cheese at age 28. And also, probably after my college years, my preferred currency from my dear parents went from money BACK to hugs & kisses (it just took me getting a regular paycheck to realize it)!

  22. Sweet . . . and so true about how fast they grow up. I was just thinking this earlier tonight and remembering how someone told me when my oldest was still a toddler: “enjoy it, because it goes by really, really fast.” I told them that I knew that, and she shook her head and said, “no, you don’t–but you will!”
