Did you know that it is National Soup Month? Me either, until I was watching the news this morning.
Since it is cool (not really cold) and rainy here in Dallas, I plan to make soup tonight. I made soup last night….I’ve been staying true to the Monthly theme. BooYa!

mmmmm. Two nights ago we had beef stew: stew meat, butternut squash, rutabega, potato, carrot, spinach, garlic and lots of pepper, served up with cornbread. mmmmmmmmmmmm!
That’s funny… who knew there were so many national food days? I’m looking forward to national hot pastrami sandwich day 1/14… mmmm.
Hmm, with all these delicious national days, I am going to need a diet month for February.
