Things I’m loving Thursday……..
You all want to know what I love right? The narcissist in me really wants you to say yes. Since my narcissistic side is really small, I’m okay if you’re not on the edge of your seat, dying to know what I love. The stubborn in me plans to tell you all about it, whether you like it or not. I’m not super stubborn though, so I won’t be blocking your path. The hopeful side of me hopes you stick around, check it out, subscribe to my blog, leave lots of lovely comments and adore me forever. <hello narcissism. Okay then….
The first thing, the main thing, the makes my world turn thing that I love is of course my family.
You can’t buy them, they are one of a kind and they are mine.
The other things I’m going to tell you about are available for purchase. Yay! Let’s buy stuff!
My polka dot baking dish. A gift from a dear friend. The baking dish is made by a company called Temp-tations. It’s sold on QVC.
The size I have is 2 Qt square baker. It comes with a trivet, a wire holder and a cover.
The QVC site has better sets and options.
My daughter and I went to World Market on Wednesday. I had a $10 off $30 coupon. I needed olive oil, and I love to browse.
I found a nifty glass jar for my Limoncello. It’s been fun making this lemon spirit. Mine will be ready on 8/17.
Here are all the ways Greg and Katherine have used their limoncello.
Isn’t it pretty. I love the look of it in the new jar.
I also love the Ball® Dissolvable Labels I used to mark the jar as Adult only and Not for kids. The labels will dissolve when I wash the jar.
Now, for the bestest thing I have bought all week….Nesting doll measuring cups.
ZOMG! They are too cute Non?
I adore nesting dolls! I have two sets from Russia on a shelf in my living room.
I am super excited to have a set for my kitchen. I don’t know if I will ever use them as measuring cups, but they are super excellent! I also found this at that check out. I did not buy it, but it was sorta funny so I wanted to show it to you.

I love the not for kids sticker! I’m so glad you’re making a batch, can’t wait to hear how it turns out. Remember, if it’s too strong, just add it to tea. Thanks for the shout out too!
The stickers are awesome! I’ll let you know what we think of it. I’m excited to try it. It’s the most lovely shade of yellow.
Here´s waiting for 17th August! Lovely post, love the dolls…never seen measuring cups like this. And bacon flavoured drink…what the heck?!
The dolls are awesomeness!
I’m thinking the syrup must be to add into things your baking or cooking. I can’t imagine wanting a bacon flavored soda or coffee (which is my normal way to use the flavored syrups) I bought coconut flavored soda, I put it in mineral water. It’s wonderful.
Hmm, bacon drink? That’s a new one. And those nesting doll measuring cups are brilliant! Yup, definitely digging your purchases (and your gifts, and your family–’cause families are pretty awesome 😀 ). I bought some books and chia seeds off of Amazon, but other than that have been pretty practical in my purchasing recently. That’s not very much fun, is it?
Allie, you buy tons of books. That’s fun.
I don’t know why you’d want bacon flavored syrup. I did think it was picture worthy though.
Did you look at all the lovely colors the baking dish comes in? So cute!
I did! And I want them all 😀 Definitely putting ’em on a future-present wishlist
Me too, girl. I’ve got a set sitting in a check out “basket”. I’m waiting for the right time to ask the hubby. I need to work on my Pleaseeee face.
I want to make Limoncello. Excited to hear how yours turns out! Blessings!
I will let you know, Kate. 🙂
such a lovely post! I like the sound of those labels. I use a marker to write on the lids of my jars and then use a remover to take it off 🙂 Have a great weekend JamieAnne 🙂
That’s what I was doing before I got these Ball labels. Thank you Tandy, I hope you have a great weekend too!
Wow, the bacon drink sounds interesting. Have a great weekend!

Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment. It sounds interesting indeed. How awesome does you Rose water ice cream look? Super awesome! 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend.
LOVE your nesting doll measuring cups!!! I have a set that my friend gave me…but mine are plastic and all just one color. Yours are gorgeous! I love things that are pretty and useful. 🙂
Hi Amber! Thanks for the visit and the comment! I adore my nesting dolls! 🙂
World Market had plates and Christmas ornaments with nesting dolls on them during the holidays.
