Breakfast made simple
Five out of seven days a week I make breakfast for at least half my family. Some mornings we are running late, and we have Jack-n-the-box. (ha!)
This morning
A smoothie made with frozen fruit, orange juice and Greek yogurt. Eggs, turkey sausage (pre-cooked and frozen), and blueberry muffins (baked while watching T.V. last night).
Utilizing my frozen items and planning ahead I was able to make a wonderful breakfast for my kiddos in under 30 min.
One side note: turkey sausage tends to dry out when you microwave it. Try wrapping the sausage in a damp paper towel before you microwave it. This helps to keep it moist.
